This compilation of videos represents artists who explored video art between 1996 and 2012. While each piece reflects its own artistic practice, they all have Miami as their common denominator. Whether shot in nature or in the urban landscape, these videos capture a time in Miami when the burgeoning art scene played a special part in shaping the city’s culture. Artists in this program include Carlos Betancourt, Natalia Benedetti, Carola Bravo, Jillian Mayer, RPM Project, Ryan Trecartin,and Wendy Wischer and Antonia Wright.
